SOLID BASICS
This class will make you familiar with basic hand and foot ties, single and double column tie, wrapping the body with rope, use tension and friction, rope handling as well as manipulating your partner’s body using yours. Participants most often cite breaking down their prejudices and shyness vis-à-vis bondage as the greatest benefit of this class.
The purpose of the workshops is not only to acquire new skills, but also to review and deepen your understanding of the practice you have already encountered!
HANDS TIED BEHIND
THE BACK – CHEST HARNESS + HOGTIE
This workshop focuses on learning to tie the chest harness - takate kote, using one or two ropes, with hands tied behind the back. You will explore the whys and hows of making your partner feel deliciously powerless. You will learn to communicate your boundaries, to be in touch with your body and observe its reactions.
Hogtie - One from most favourite positions of all powerlessness fans. With careful execution, it offers enough comfort and safety for follow-up bdsm games.
In addition to the demonstration and your own practice, you will learn more about the risk of nerve injuries during the theoretical portion of the workshop.
We will also discuss different variations of hogtie suitable for different body types.
A prerequisite for participating in this workshop is to be able to tie a single column tie and the basics of rope handling (Solid basics from the day before)

To attend my workshops as a couple, purchase two tickets. You can also sign up as a single if you are open to being paired up with another single participant on the spot. Please indicate in the registration request email whether you prefer to tie with a man or a woman, as a rigger or as a model.
A small group of participants (5 couples max) guarantees intensive instruction and a personalised approach.
Light refreshments will be offered.
Please bring ropes with you if you have any. Pack a blanket and comfortable clothes to change into, as if you were going to the gym.
Ropes will be available for you to borrow. If you wish to get your own hand-made shibari ropes (8m, 6mm jute, EUR30/piece), please let me know in advance at diana@dianavera.com.
